Privacy Policy
Text2Bot is an automated AI SMS assistant. This page describes how we handle mobile numbers, opt-in records, and messages. It is written for people who opt in by text and for carrier / 10DLC reviewers.
What we collect
- The mobile number you use to opt in or text the service.
- Opt-in and opt-out records: when you agreed, the disclosure you were shown, and STOP / START events.
- Message content needed to generate a reply and to honor HELP, STOP, and other protocol keywords.
- Technical delivery metadata from our messaging provider (for example, that a message was accepted), never used for marketing lists.
Mobile numbers and marketing
Mobile numbers and opt-in data are not shared with third parties for marketing. We do not sell your number, your opt-in record, or your texts to advertisers, data brokers, or other companies so they can market to you.
We use service providers only to operate Text2Bot — for example a messaging provider to deliver SMS and an automated AI assistant to draft replies. Those processors may see a number or message as needed to provide that service. They are not given your data for their own marketing.
AI processing
Messages are processed by AI. Replies come from an automated assistant, not a person sitting on the other end of the text thread. Do not send information you would not want an automated system to process. Text2Bot is not a place for emergencies; if you are in crisis, call or text 988 or use local emergency services.
How opt-in, STOP, and HELP work
- Opt-in. You opt in on a hosted consent page (link or QR code) by entering your mobile number and checking the agreement box, or when an owner approves a join-code request you texted. We then send a confirmation that repeats the disclosure, including links to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.
- STOP. Reply STOP to opt out. You get one confirmation and no further messages from Text2Bot, except a later HELP reply if you text HELP, or a new confirmation if you opt in again. After STOP, text START from the same phone to restore a previous opt-in where the service allows it.
- HELP. Reply HELP anytime for the support contact and links to this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service.

Retention
We keep consent and opt-out records for at least four years (4+ years) so we can show that a number opted in or asked us to stop. We do not treat that retention window as permission to text you after you reply STOP.
